• If you need to pay a traffic fine, please pay it at the police station and ask for a reciept. No police officer is authorized to accept or recieve money for any reason
• Bribery in Mexico is a felony for the one who offers and the one who receives it
• A U-turn is not permitted except where otherwise indicated. Drive carefully and remember that the speed is marked in kilometers
• Never sleep in lonely places or at the wayside, look for the nearest town.

1. To drink alcoholic beverages on mexican streets
2. To drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs
3. To committ immoral acts in public order (fights, shouting, etc.)
4. To disturb public order (fights, shouting, etc.)
5. It is a federal crime to use any kind of drugs.
6. For minors under 18 years of age to enter bars.
7. It is a federal felony to possess or use any weapon.

To process a complaint regarding police conduct or citations, note the following:

• Officer's name and badge number
• Afilliation department
• Patrol-unit number
• Time and place of the ticket
• Officer's uniform color
• Time that you where detained
• Officer's complexion
