Casa de los Siete Patios was designed by owner and architect, Jean-Loup Bitterlin, in 1969 as the family estate for his mother Dona Pepita, founder of El Rey Sol, Mexico's oldest French restaurant.

The 8,000 square foot home has been recently and completely remodeled in earth tones by decorator Martha Ramirez to compliment the blue ocean vistas that can be seen from most of the five suites and living areas. The creative, eclectic, décor includes items from throughout Mexico, antique Persian rugs, colorful paintings by renown artist such as Aurelio Pescina, and sculptures in bronze by Heriberto Juarez to complete the warm, comfortable interiors. The patios include a neatly groomed garden surrounding a two-story playhouse; an illuminated professional sized croquet court, the ocean-view pool and spa; and an ocean's edge eucalyptus grove with an antique carrousel for your children's delight.

Perched atop a dramatic ocean bluff overlooking the ever blue and at times emerald glistening water of the Pacific Ocean in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico is Casa De Los Siete Patios. This is mi Casa and I welcome you to experience something very special and memorable.

Patio Carrousel
The Patio Carrousel is enclosed by a stand of Eucalyptus trees that shade an antique carrousel, one used to delight Mexican Village children. Another barbecue with a dining area overlooks the ever-present ocean view.

Prices:
To assure your privacy and enjoyment, we book to only one party at a time, even if your group uses less than 5 suites. Friday, Saturday and holidays have a 25% surcharge. The prices quoted are in U. S. Dollars//Per Day and may be changed without prior notice.
*All stays include Breakfast and Lunch served at the Villa.

Occupancy:
Casa de los Siete Patios accommodates up to 10 people with double occupancy per suite. If you wish to bring more guests than the limit, you must receive prior written consent of the owner or villa administrator. Each additional guest will be charged $75 a day. There is a three day minimum stay at Casa de los Siete Patios. During the Easter, Christmas and New Year Holidays, there is a one week minimum stay @ $17,500 per week.

Accommodations:
The rental includes use of the furnished 5-suite villa and 3 person staff providing the following:

1. Interior maintenance of the house, pool, Jacuzzi and grounds.
2. 12 hour daily housekeeping, turndown, linens and laundry service (for normal washables).
3. Night watchman.
4. Administrator's assistance with the planning of day trips, activities and spa services.
5. Continental breakfast in bed or full breakfast in dining areas.

Food:
There is a daily food certificate included in the rate to be used at our world famous “El Rey Sol” restaurant in Ensenada , ten minutes away. Chef and waiter service may be arranged additionally on an advance reservation basis, for lunch, dinner or special events, exclusively by “El Rey Sol.”

Rental Deposit:
A deposit of 50% of the rental fee is required, payable within 5 working days of booking the reservation. The full balance is payable 45 days before the arrival date. The rental deposit is nonrefundable if cancellation occurs. In that case, Owner will attempt to re-rent the property for the time reserved. If Owner is able to re-rent the property, the Owner will refund the rental deposit, less 20% as service fees.

Check-in and Check-out:
Check-in is 4:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am in order for our housekeeper to leave the villa spotless for you. If rental schedule allows, guests may request a later check-out or earlier check-in.

Security Deposit:
A $1,000 security deposit is required in addition to the rental fee with balance. Agent will hold security deposit. Any damages or other costs will be deducted from the security deposit. Owner may recover costs and expenses, to which Owner is entitled, in excess of the security deposit. There is a $1,000 security deposit for special events.

Spa Services:
Complete variety of massages and treatments may be arranged on site. A complementary one hour massage per person is included when only one suite is rented (maximum 2 people).*

Taxes:
A 12% sales and room tax is included.

Casa de los Siete Patios is a private, luxury location perfect for family reunions, corporate retreats, events of all types for discriminating clients, or for that most important of days, the celebration of your wedding. The unique seven patios can accommodate from 50 - 680 persons.

Patio Campestre has adequate room for 550 persons in the 6,000 square foot grass sportscourt and the mezzanine provides space for another 130 of your special guests. Patio Agua Azul surrounds the Mykonos pool and can seat 120 people with ample space for 100 more on the overlooking terrace adjoining the Patio Campestre. This area also features a large barbecue, complimented with a unique restroom area that is easily accessible.

Patio Carrousel and Patio Pergola offer the ocean's closest proximity for events of up to 300 persons. The pergola is a sensational and romantic setting for a sunset wedding ceremony. Our antique carrousel is a unique centerpiece that can be decorated to suit the occasion. Both patios are serviced by another barbecue area. Our experienced El Rey Sol staff can professionally coordinate your event, guaranteeing to exceed your every expectation.
